Description
The Greenhouse, the Flowers
A Victorian greenhouse reimagined through a gothic lens — black architectural frames enclosing flowers, stained windows, and a quiet little world within.
Inspired by the romance of old conservatories and the darker beauty of gothic architecture, the design brings together ornate structure and living forms. Behind the pointed frames, botanical details fill the space with color, while warm light gives the greenhouse a different character after dark.
It feels like a forgotten greenhouse tucked away somewhere beyond the ordinary — part garden, part sanctuary, and entirely its own little world.
Design Details
Black gothic frames, rose-shaped stained windows, purple flowers, and intricate botanical details give the greenhouse its distinctive character.
Inside, the miniature scene continues with a checkered floor, lounge chair, easel, and small decorative elements, creating a complete interior rather than an empty architectural shell.
Built-in lights shine through the stained windows and botanical details, allowing the greenhouse to shift from a detailed daytime display to a warm, atmospheric scene after dark.
In the Room
Designed as a display piece for a desk, bookshelf, cabinet, or side table. Let it sit among books, plants, candles, and vintage objects, or give it its own space where the architecture and warm glow can stand out.
With its detailed interior and illuminated windows, it brings the feeling of a tiny hidden greenhouse into the room — even when there is no garden outside.
The Build
A longer build: about 5–7 hours, easily split over more than one night. Stop when you want; the next session starts where you left the bags. The time in your hands is the point as much as the finished piece.
