The Skull, the Floral Crown

A white skull crowned with purple and red blooms, curved horns rising through the flowers — a still life built around the tension between a wreath and a relic.
Inspired by classic gothic imagery, the design takes a familiar symbol and gives it a darker kind of crown. The skull remains what it is; the mixed flowers sit as something living that does not wilt. Horns pull the whole piece away from a simple planter and toward a small mythic head.
It feels like a crowned object left on a table — part memorial, part garden, and entirely its own little world.

Design Details

Every element is built to create contrast — pale bone and horns against purple and red, green leaves filling the gaps, flowers sitting as a crown rather than loose stems around the base.
The horns rise through the blooms so the skull reads as one creature, not a head with decoration added after. Layered petals and leaves keep the composition full from different angles.

In the Room
